Answer
Hi Karen,

First item. Please do NOT use all capital letters, It hurts these tired old eyes.

OK, The Air Bag light has come on due to a fault within the air bag system. There are numerous sensors that can cause this fault.

I STRONGLY suggest that you have it repaired IMMEDIATELY as the air bag system will not deploy the air bag(s) if you get into an accident.

PLEASE DO NOT have ANYONE who is not trained, experienced or totally familiar with diagnosing and repairing this fault.

The air bag system is designed to inflate DIRECTLY into your face as your momentum goes towards the air bag when an accident occurs. This system is NOW INOPERATIVE.

Should the air bag deploy when an untrained, Unskilled, Unfamiliar automotive technician or back yard mechanic has his head sideways to the air bag and it accidently deploys due to an error while trying to fix it, There is enough pressure from the air bag to seriously injure his/her neck as well as being KILLED due to a BROKEN NECK.

Do NOT fool around with this dangerous safety device and have it professionally repaired. Now is the time NOT to be CHEAP. Is your life worth a few dollars ?.

Without actually diagnosing the fault myself, i would estimate repairs and parts to toatl about $150.00 to $200.00 for a PROFESSIONAL repair.

I know, "OUCH", That's alot of money. Is your life and the lives of your passengers worth being CHEAP ?.

let me know.
