QuestionMy wife has a mail rural route at about 2 hours into route the Olds starts chugging & loping. I have replaced the sparkplugs & wires also a new fuel filter. I have also changed out the ignition coils. The olds is still loping & chugging when hot.
AnswerWhat was the LAST repair on the vehicle ?. ANY repair of any nature ?. In most cases problems that arise days, weeks or even months later can usually be traced back to the previous repair.

What is it's performance when it is first started and the engine is COLD ?.
What is it's performance at higher speeds when it is first started and the engine is cold ?.
What is it's performance at higher speeds when it is at normal operating temperature ?.
How many miles are on the vehicle ?.
Without having any answers to the above questions and if the vehicle is in excess of 60,000 miles I would suspect a fuel pump starting to fail. The ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP is within the gas tank.
HOWEVER, I need answers for a more accurate diagnosis.
FYI: Your vehicles insurance carrier DOES KNOW that you are using the vehicle for BUSINESS PURPOSES ?.
