Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 2000pontiac grand prix air conditioner, compressor cycle, c mode

my air conditioner will blow cold air for about 10 minutes after turning it on, but then it just starts blowing outside temperature air after that.  Any ideas as to how I might be able to troubleshoot to find the root cause?

What was the LAST repair on the vehicle ?. ANY repair of any nature ?. In most cases problems that arise days, weeks or even months later can usually be traced back to the previous repair.

Does the A/C compressor cycle (Turn ON and OFF) like it has always done when you selected the A/C mode ?.

Is there sufficient refrigerant (freon) in the A/C system ?.

Is at least ONE of the A/C hoses COLD to the touch when in the A/C mode ?.
