Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 94 Ford Escort A/C, e mail address, reputable facility

Question
I have a 94 Ford Escort and the air conditioner stopped working.  It blows out hot air but it won't blow out any cool air.  Every once in awhile it does kick on and blow cool air, but that is not very often.  It happened before and I replaced the Relay, it worked for awhile then stopped again.  What is the problem?

Answer
In most cases such as yours there is a leak of refrigerant (freon) within your A/C system of which causes the A/C compressor to turn ON and OFF repeatedly of which eventually overheats the A/C relay and causes the relay to fail.

You need to have a reputable facility using the proper A/C equipment test and diagnose your A/C system to find and repair the source of the leak.
