Question
QUESTION: would like to try to use the new glue to replace the side panels on the bed of my truck . just how  hard a job is this  and how do i do it thanks george .the panels over the back wheeel are gon  truck is 1994 ford f150

ANSWER: GEORGE.....IF THE PANELS ARE RUSTED OUT THERE MAY BE MORE DAMAGES THAN CAN BE SEEN.
IT IS A TIME CONSUMING PROCESS AND TO INVOLVED FOR ME TO GET EVERYTHING BUT TO GIVE U AN IDEA....

REMOVE REAR BUMPER AND TAIL LIGHTS
REMOVE BED ASSY AND PURCHASE ALL NEW BED BOLTS AND CLIPS AS THEY ALWAYS BREAK DUE TO CORROSION.
CUT THE FROZEN BED BOLTS OFF
REMOVE FUEL FILLER NECK AND EMISSION LINES
PLACE BED ON STAND
DRILL OUT SPOT WELDS
REMOVE OUTER PANELS
REVERSE ABOVE PROCEDURES

QUESTION: hi all i wanted to do is repair the rusted out part over yhe rear fenders  with the body panel ,wanted to know how to use the new glue that is out for this type of repair . thanks   george.

Answer
GEORGE....THERE ISN'T ANYTHING SPECIAL ABOUT STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES TO DO IF YOU HAVE THE EQUIPMENT.

YOU NEED AN APPLICATOR GUN AND MIXING TIPS. GLUE COMES IN A 2 PART TUBE AND MIXES AS IT IS COMING OUT. THE APPLICATOR GUNS ARE NOT CHEAP. THEY RUN ABOUT 80-125 BUCKS EACH...THEN YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE THE TIPS AND THE GLUE ITSELF, CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL BODY SHOP SUPPLIER FOR THESE ITEMS.
