Auto body repair & detailing: nova, rolling chassis, plasma cutter

Question
QUESTION: I was wandering if it was possible to place a Nova body on a nascar roller chassi

ANSWER: Brandon, before i can be of any help i need more information.  there are 3 different Nova body designs, not counting the Toyota body.If you have a;plasma cutter, mig welder, metal sheer, plus 4 good buddys you can make 'that' Nova any thing you want. You only have to cut out the rear 1/2 cars floor pan  drop it on the rolling chassis trim to fit and fill in all the spaces with the new custom floor pan. I have seen it done to make a 4x4 with a blazer chassis.H T H  Bill

QUESTION: I recieved your answer to the question that I asked you and I thank you. The Nova that I have is a 1978 two door coupe. The roller chassi that I have already has a full floor pan so I was wandering if I would have to cut the entire floor pan out of the Nova to fit the body to the chassi. Your help is very appreciative. thanks

Answer
Brando , this a custom fit job. Center your rear wheels in the opening and start measuring everything, you will see where to make the cuts. You are the one who will be telling me what you had to cut out and piece in   custom fabrication. good luck .Bill
