Auto body repair & detailing: tie rod damage, wheel allignment, car tip

Question
Hi there, I have an 06 Dodge charger, 88,000 kms approximate.  I was hit on the driver side, I was travelling at 100 km/h, the other vehicle hit me at 120 km/h, most damage done between driver door and front wheel.  Body shop fixes the exterior of the car tip top.  1-2 weeks later I find out that both motor mounts are broken and that the tie rods are bent in the exact same location on both sides.  Is this a strong connection to the accident?

Answer
Absolutely. You need to get with the insurance company and file and additional damage claim with them. The body shop should be more than willing to help you file the claim, but you might have to have a mechanic do the repairs. The car will need a 4 wheel allignment once the repairs are completed, also. All these things should be covered. Bill
