Auto body repair & detailing: 2006 honda civic core support damage, air bag deployment, salvage title

Question
I'm in the process of buying a 2006 Honda Civic. The owner has said the car was in a front end accident. He has restored the car to "original" by replacing the front bumper, hood, front fenders, lights. The core support was also damaged and fixed. It now has a salvage title. The pics look great. My question.. what should I do to feel confident that this car is as "back to normal" when I look at it? I'm a little afraid of it.

DO NOT buy this car without having it looked at by a competent body tech or reputable body shop in your area !!!

There are far too many issues that these salvage title cars can have that will make your life miserable for a long time.

An 06 civic, which will hold it's value very well, should remain repairable with more significant damage than what you have described.
Remember that the insurance company made an economic judgement to "total" the car.

This car must simply have had more significant damage than what he has disclosed. Structural damage to the subframe or other inner structure, possibly suspension damage, or air bag deployment.

Have it checked, or- kick yourself later when you start having big problems.

Good Luck, mark

Ensure the SRS is operable!!!!
