Auto body repair & detailing: door hinges, broken toes, front doors

Question
My front doors on my chevy 2500 truck have dropped so the doors are hard to shut.  Do the hinges need to be adjusted and/or what can I do.

Answer
You need to take it to the dealership, and have hinge pins and bushings installed. The hinges are welded, and there is no adjustment on them. They are sagging due to worn components. I don't ever recommand a home repair on this, the door is heavy, and i requires special tools to drive out and install the pins and bushings. As a testament to the weight of one of these doors, I currently have 3 broken toes- and I been doing this 24 years. If I can have a costly slip up- well, your odds of causing bodily injury, or body damage to the truck are much higher than mine- yet, somehow even I managed to hurt myself on a vehicle I'm very familiar with.
