Auto body repair & detailing: spot paint, karmann ghia, orignal color

Question
I have a "66" Karmann Ghia that I painted back in 87 with Imaron(I think it's spelled that way) paint in the orignal color. But I added pearl to the clear coat, it looked great for a garage paint job. the car was garaged and only driven on nice summer days up untill "04" when I move to a new home and it had to sit outside for the fall while my new garage was built. It recieved a small dent from wind damage to the front fender right hand side and needs repainting is it possible to blend pearl, or should I just say oh well and repaint the complete car.

Answer
Anything is possible especially for a trained expert. If you have never done this before, take it to a shop, otherwise, you will have a mess experimenting with your car. Imron is one of the hardest paints to spot paint as it is, I know, back in the 70s, that's all I sprayed.
