Auto body repair & detailing: Need help installing driver side mirror on a 2007 accord coupe, heated mirror, plastic caps

Hi,

Someone tried to steal my driver side mirror on my 2007 Accord Coupe last night and broke it off in the process.  I am going to buy one online from a Honda dealer and install it myself.  Could you provide me with step by step instruction on it's install.  btw, this is a heated mirror.  also, do you know if they come with the wiring harness because I destroyed mine trying to get it off?

You may get away with removing the cover above the trim panel to get at the nuts holding the mirror on. If the trim panel is one piece all the way to the top, you will have to remove it. Look for screws around the arm rest area. This model may have plastic caps covering the screws. Look for the same around the inside handle. The panel should pop off easily with a trim removal tool. Sometimes you can pry them off by hand,e careful.
