Answer
That's more that a couple questions but here goes.
Book work, I'd rather be working on the car.
Paint fumes and all the toxic chemicals. A day off on the golf course.
You can make a lot of money but it's hard work.
Experience is the best training. The books do not tell you about every car.
Keep a clear head and remember, the customer is always right. You can explain to your hearts content why he is wrong, but some people just don't get it.
Yes because I wrecked every car I drove, I had to learn how to fix them.
As you get older, this kind of work is difficult on the back and knees.
State license
Grinders, torches and welders.
I started cleaning and detailing cars for a body shop. Once you can learn to get that car perfectly clean, you know you can do the same with most any job you do. Most people can not see perfection, keep it in your head anyway. You always feel god at night when you know you did the job the right way and it was perfect.
