Auto body repair & detailing: Manual Driver side Mirror 2000 Honda Civic Sedan, noticeable scratches, side mirror

I'm relatively new driver using my car since the last 4 months. I park my car on the NY city streets and my driver side mirror was busted by someone who also left both driver side doors with noticeable scratches and dent. Is it advisable to replace mirror by myself and also any suggestions on the dent/paint work? Also the inside manual control stick for passenger side window didn't exist when I bought the car and I hear the gushing sound when driving on highway. My guess is air coming inside somehow. Should I also replace the passenger side mirror? Please advice. Thanks!!

Turn it in to your insurance, and have a professional do the entire job. Amateur paint work on the area you described is always a disapointment. Have them check the other side, and see if the splash shiel is properly installed inside the door. There is something wrong besides a mirror pivot hole. Bill
