Auto body repair & detailing: rear bumper slight damage, chevy impala, 2006 chevy impala

Question
A car must have slightly rubbed my rear drivers side bumper. 2006 Chevy Impala 5.3L. No deep damage just scratches and gouges in the plastic cover approx 5" dia area. Please tell me the best way to proceed for fixing. It's a beutiful black except for that spot standing out like a sore thumb.  Fix or replace? Dealer or body shop?  And a round figure of what it should cost Maximum. If possible

Answer
Hello, and thank you for your question! Sorry, but if you read my bios, you will see I don't do online estimates.  Take it to a body shop for a professional appraisal, I can't see the damage. Try the dealership body shop you purchased the car from, if you were happy with the purchase process of the car. If you  were treated fairly and professionally, It's likely you will be treated the same in the body shop. Bill
