Auto body repair & detailing: Help I have a major problem with a purchase and repair, radiator coolant, comprehensive insurance coverage

Question
I bought a car over the internet advertised on autotrader.com.  I live in PA and the car was in FL.  The lady sent many pictures, and told me that everything worked -- cold a/c, brand new tires, NO RUST, etc., and so I agreed to a purchase price of $3000 plus half the cost of the new tires and fuel pump.  She had not been driving the car since he husband passed away. I wire transferred the money to her, and she sent me the title and receipt for the new tires and fuel pump, but I did not transfer ownership because I didn't  have the car.  The car arrived at 1:30 this morning, and quit halfway down my driveway.  I had it towed to a repair shop who informed me that the fuel gauge was inoperative and that it was out of gas, and out of radiator coolant.  They also told me it was full of rust, and I could see the rust too on the body. Well I went to pick it up and drive it home from the Firestone place, and I had driven a half mile and the wheel, yes the entire wheel, front driver's wheel flew off the car, and it has caused major damage to the car.  Obviously the company the put the tires on in Florida did not tighten lug nuts or something.  The car had not been driven between the time the tire were put on and the time I drove it today.  It has been towed everywhere.  I am not sure what to do...  The company that put the tires on is a Bridgestone company, but also the seller greatly misrepresented the sell as a fully restored classic car.  Where do I start?  I have comprehensive insurance coverage that will cover at blue book value, as of today.  But the Briedgestone company, when I called about the fuel problem, told me that the warranty only covers the owner who made the repairs.  Well I haven't transferred ownership yet.  What do I do?

Wow. I think you should get some legal advice. This is just not my area of expertise at all but- having the experience of being around dealerships and so forth I would probably get ahold of a sales manager at a dealership that would be savvy about transactions such as this and see what rights you may have. They may be glad to talk to you and will be knowledgeable about issues such as this. I hope "buyer beware" doesn't bite you on this and I am sorry about the misfortune. Good Luck- Mark
