Auto body repair & detailing: Eclipse Car Door, eclipse car, allignment

Question
While my driver side door was open, a friend of mine backed her car to far and hit my car door bending it open too far. It didn't cause any denting to the body, but the door doesn't close snuggly like it should. It latches, but you can tell it's out of allignment because the top edge of the window doesn't seal properly against the top when you close it. Is there anything I can try to adjust this myself? Or would you recommend professionals tackle this one?

Answer
Open the door and roll a thick leather glove and stuff it by the hinge so the hinge closes onto the glove.Close the door applying some pressure, you dont need to latch it, and repeat with the other hinge.Take the glove out and try the door.If you need to do it a few times its ok, work slowly. If the door was bent too far you will need new hinges.
