Auto body repair & detailing: Minor puncture repair, polyester putty, honda s2000

Question
Hi, I have a 2 week old honda s2000 and today i noticed there was a small puncture on my front bumper. Imagine you have a 1/4 inch dia metal rod and you place one end on the bumper and then push slighty, not enough to go through, but enough to puncture on one side of the rod. The result is much like a hanging chad on a voting ballot or when using a hole punch on to much paper. Is there a way to touch this up? Say with some type of filling compound and touch up paint? Thank you in advance!

Answer
You could sand the area with 320 grit sand paper mask around the hole with tape and fill with polyester putty sand smooth with 320 grit and touch up with paint this will not be an undectable repair but will look better than a hole which was most likely caused by a license plate screw from another vehilce in a parking situation.
