Auto body repair & detailing: repairing a left driver side ding., caprice classic, battle scars

Question
alright.i have two cars with dings.

one is a 70' 4-door chevelle. there is a small yet obvious ding on the rear passenger side door.

it is the type of ding where you can tell the exact point of contact and that it shapes a VERY slight bowl shape.

how would i fix this and make it look normal?

in addition, my 93' caprice classic has a ding on the rear driver side door. i grazed a stop sign and it caused some running dents near the mid door paneling.

it looks as if a 10,000 pound cat stepped on it while running. although the indentions aren't that bad.

how would i fix this?

Answer
I would contact your local GM dealership, and see if they have a dent removal service, or one that they use. Dent wizards do a fantastic job on smaller dents, and do a respectable job on larger ones. It sounds like the Chevelle ding will come completely out, but the caprice may have some battle scars after the repair. Expect to pay 75-100 bucks per car. Much cheaper than the 350.00 per panel I charge to paint one. If they don't feel they can help you, the only other option is a visit to the body shop. Once again, expect to pay no less than 350 bucks per car, perhaps more depending upon the severity of the damage. Bill
