Auto body repair & detailing: Restore wreck damage to hood, inch gap, repair plastics

Question
I am wanting to know if its possible to restore front driver side damage to my 1992 Camaro hood. It was wrecked when I bought it and have since replaced the hood with another. The first hood is in much better paint condition and stripes. It did have a hole in the corner about 3 x 3 inch and the corner was bent in. I have since straightened the corner and shortened the hole to a 1 x 1 inch gap.I am trying to figure out "bondo" to fill in the creases. Any advice would be nice. I have no experience in welding and am not sure how to repair it. Was advised by other body shops to junk it. I would still like to try and make the repair.

Answer
JOSH,
JUST ABOUT ANYTHING CAN BE STRAIGHTENED AND OR REPAIRED IF YOU SPEND ENOUGH TIME WITH IT.
IF YOU THINK IT'S WORTH THE EFFORT THAN GIVE IT A SHOT.
MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE FOR YOU TO DO A LITTLE READING UP ON THE BASICS OF BODY REPAIR , PLASTICS (BONDO)ETC. TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE, AND IF YOU CAN'T WELD, CHECK OUT
SOME HOW TO'S ON USING FIBERGLASS FOR A STRONG BONDING REPAIR.
                       GOOD LUCK.  BILL
