Auto body repair & detailing: Hood Ornament, hood ornament, insulator

I would like to reinstall my spring loaded Hood Ornament on my 1985 Olds 98 Regency and I don't know how it's done.Can you help me out?Thanx in advance. Tom!!!!!!!!

Tom,
 There is a large nut under the hood, possible under the hood insulator, directly under the ornament.  Takethis nut off and the ornament will come right out.  Them just re-install the ornament in the opposite order.
