Auto body repair & detailing: Interior Design, razor blade, 1985 buick regal

I have a 1985 buick regal. I was wondering if i could replace the wodgrain strip on the door handals and/or add more around the dash. Also I was wondering if my glove compartment be repaired. Someone broke into and it won't stay up, it just hangs.

 Yes, if you can find replacement woodgrain decals.  Remove the old with a razor blade Carefully, remove excess adhesive with a solvent and put new woodgrain decals where necessary.  The woodgrain decal will have adhesive on back.
We would suggest when taking the decal off with the razor blade, use a piece of cardboard with the handle cut out so if you slip with the razor blade you will not damage the paint on the doors.
 For the glove compartment, you probably need to replace the lock/catch mechanism.
