Auto body repair & detailing: aerosol paint removal, yellow spray paint, aerosol paint

Question
When I ran over a can of yellow spray paint today it burst, spraying the tire, stainless steel rim + plastic chrome center, recently waxed rear quarter panal + "4x4"decal",and the bumper.  How can I remove the paint without damaging the various finishes?  Paint thinner?
Rubbing compound?  Thank you. ('99 Silverado)

     you can use either laquer thinner or enamel reducer depending on what type of paint it is, but the thinner will work on both laquer or enamel paint. hope you get it off. thanks for writing.
