Hello, I have a 2004 crown Victoria police interceptor and the passenger window stopped working mid way. I have replaced the master control switch and have no luck. There is no sound coming from anywhere when I push the passenger side button or on the drivers side. What's up?

Hello Tom,

You could have a bad window motor on the passenger door.  You could also have a bad single window switch on the passenger door.  You could also have a wiring issue between the master window switch and the passenger door.  

Because you don't hear any sound when pressing either switch, the most likely problem is the bad window motor, but you must check out the switches and wiring before you assume that the motor is defective.  Even if you can confirm that the window switches and wiring are functioning properly, I don't recommend that you attempt to replace the motor yourself.  This is definitely one of the most difficult power window mechanisms for a non-professional to work on.
