Auto Glass: Window Tinting, window panes, rain wind

Question
Hi. I got a do-it-yourself tint kit for my truck to hide my subs and I was wondering if it would be a specifically bad idea to put it on the outside of the window as opposed to the inside. It just seems so much easier to get it to lay flat on the outside like a vinyl as opposed to climbing around inside the cab and dealing with window panes and everyting else. I got the best kit I could find so I don't end up dealing w/ the bubbling and peeling. What's your opinion?

Answer
Hi Will,

I don't do any window tinting so my opinion isn't worth much.  In the long run I don't think the film will stay on the window due to exposure to rain, wind, sun, etc.  I'd check with the manufacturer to be sure.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
