Auto Glass: 99 camry rear window trouble, toyota camry, flat head screw

Question
My 99 Toyota Camry rear windows have BOTH gone out! Pretty suspicious I thought. I took the doors apart to find a stripped connector in the same place on each window. The connector looks like a gear on one end, and a 'sort-of' flat head screw/bolt on the other. In some of the photos I have seen online of the motor/regulator assemblage this little piece has a black coiled belt attached to it. No such thing on mine, though. Other than this one piece, both motors are fine, and the rest of the regulator assemblage is fine (not stripped, bent, w/e.

My question is: Which part does this little screw/gear belong to? The Motor or the Regulator?

Answer
Hi Joe,

Rear window problems are fairly rare on the 1997-2001 Camry.  Occasionally I replace a failed window motor.  Nothing comes to mind immediately based on the description of what you have found. If you could send me a photo of the piece I might be able to give you more help.
