Auto Glass: broken glass, broken mirror glass, backing plate

Question
my right and left side mirrors got broke by someone... but  i
would like to know can i replace the glass, or do i have to
replace the whole mirror? and do you know where i can purchase  
the glass mirror?

If it is just the glass that is broken, it can be replaced.
Check to make sure that your backing plate is still in tact.
For many vehicles the glass replacements come with the backing plate which is what the glass sits in and then attaches or snaps into the mirror head itself.
If your mirror is self dimming, there are actually two pieces of glass with the gel to make it self dimming "sandwiched" in between the two pieces. There fore it is much easier to replace the glass by placing the glass on top of the broken glass.
