Auto Glass: Power window issues in 95 Toyota Camry, power window switch, dashboard lights

Question
I can't operate the driver side power window in my 1995 Toyota Camry.

Originally I only was having trouble with the power door lock on the front passenger side door.  I removed the door panel to replace the front passenger power lock/window switches, but after I hooked up the new switch module on the passenger side I tried the power window switch on the driver side and it no longer worked.

Could my work on the passenger door have affected the driver side door, or was this more likely just a matter on complete coincidence?

So far I've replaced the power window/lock switches and the power lock actuator on the passenger door, fixing the original problem with the power lock on that door.  I can now use my power lock button to lock all the doors, but I can't lower the front passenger window with the passenger window switch.  I can however lower the window from the driver-side main switch.  I know, weird!

Today I replaced the main power switch on the driver side door but the problems continue.  I still can't raise or lower the driver window, and I still can't raise or lower the front passenger window with the switch on the passenger door.

I thought it might have been a problem with my replacement main power switch so I tried another, but to no avail.

I've now checked all the fuses under the hood and the main block of fuses behind the coin tray.  I read that there are other fuses for the power window still further behind the dash, but I haven't tried these yet.  My understanding is that if this fuse is blown I should also not be able to see any dashboard lights but they work fine.

Are there any other places I can look or do I have a wiring problem with my driver door?  Any suggestions?

Answer
Hello Andy,

Let's start with the passenger side front window.  If I understand you correctly, you can operate the window up and down from the master switch on the driver door, but it will not go down with the switch on the passenger door.  My first guess is that the "window lock out button" on the master switch is in the down position.  If this is not the case, then get back to me and let me know if you can raise the passenger window with the passenger switch after lowering it with the master switch.  Also let me know if the rear windows will work from their individual switches.

Now let's go to the driver door.  It is really hard to say whether your problem is related to the work you have already done or just a huge coincidence that occurred at the same time.  The only way to be sure is to determine what is actually wrong.  Do you have power coming out of the master switch on both wires for the driver door window motor?  Does the power from the switch reach the connector to the motor?  Does the motor/regulator work if you supply power from a remote source such as a separate 12 volt battery?

If you will send me a follow up with more information, I will be happy to get back to you with a suggestion on what to do next.
