what tools are needed and how do you remove the side glass on a 1995 2door chevy cavilier.thanks

I would not recommend anyone do this Quarter glass job as far as taking one from one car to put into another because of the Encapsulated mouldings and the very narrow corner point on the rear of them, and the heavy labor time involved to save what turns out to be a not so expensive glass,
25-35 used, 35-85 new. Makes it Not worth the trouble!!


To remove the old broken one you need a razor knife and a pack of New Utility blades, screwdriver, gloves, and safety glasses. Vacuum.

Remove door plate from glass and cut urethane away from body as you pull the mouldings with the other hand.  Cut all glue away and vac clean, Prime glass and pincweld and glue in.Tape to hold until dry.

I can not remember if the 95 had clips on the inside to help hold it in or it was all glue. If there is pull them straight up to remove and straight down to install.
