Auto Glass: 91 jeep wrangler renegade, jeeep wrangler, Dw1141

i need to replace cracked windshield and its frame. the frame is rusty so was told it will break prob when they take glass out. they quoted thousands to repair. do you know how i could get this done cheaper? i live in denver CO. thanks you

   I am not a Jeep guy but I am almost possitive your frame is bolted on with 4 bolts. If the older style frame (1970's-82)  is the same size and shape as your frame it is available new on Ebay for 140.00 Just Copy and paste:    Item number: 230372009919 into Ebay

Then call the glass guys back and tell them you need a DW1136 and the rubber and they should be happy to install this rubber set windshield for around 175.00 OR ,

Search internet for complete 91 Wrangler Frame and windshield DW1141 assembely for around 395.00 complete and paint any color you want and bolt the thing in in 20 mins.

So to recap: The 1976-82 glass is a DW1136 and needs a rubber to install.

The 91 Wrangler glass is a DW1141 and is glued in with a reveal moulding and can fit into all jeep wranglers from 1975's up to 1995. It can be confusing so,  If you need to call me I will give you my phone number if you send a private message next time.
