Auto Glass: windshield cracked, Mustang, Glass replacement

I have a 2000 mustang gt, the windshield is cracked.  I would like to have it replaced.  I'm not sure where to go to have it replaced or what I'm looking at paying.  Can you please help?

              Depending on what area you live, you might not have to take your Car anywhere!! Most Auto Glass shops provide mobile service that come to your Home or Office. Some charge a fee for this service MOST Do Not. If you have Full Glass coverage through your insurance company a professional glass shop can bill them directly. So Grab your Local Phone book and let your fingers do the Walking! : ) If you have the 2 Dr coupe there are 5 different Windshield Options for this car and he price range is drastic from 150-350. If you want the (OE)or original glass that has the Ford Logo, expect to pay more. If you Want the little "PONY" stamped in the Glass?, more yet. If you do not care go with the cheaper options But always Try to Buy American!!! A Professional Glass Company is not hard to find if you know what to look for! Looking for a Company with experience is a must 10-30 years at least. Certification is important sure, but is the certified Mechanic experienced? Reputation tells All. Check with your Better Business Bureau. A good glass mechanic will let you watch him do the whole job at a safe distance. But A Hack a Louie will not, LOL :) If the Glass guy asks you to please go in the house, that is a sure sign to call another company.
