metal inserts
Hi Giuri, thank you for providing both that nice picture and and the code for the plastic id. >PP< (Polypropylene).
There is no adhesive for PP. As explained in past posts the only effective solution is to weld the severed parts by using a 40 watts soldering iron so they can be melted around in the crack formed when the two pieces are set as they were before they broke. Of course, this union is not strong enough to bear the weight of the cover by itself. Therefore we have to insert a few pieces of perforated metal sheet cut from the grill of a discarded radio speaker (similar to the screen of a microwave oven door but thinner) you insert those pieces by pushing them into the plastic with the hot iron like forming "bridges" (i will attach an image of inserts used in a similar repair)
on top of the already gone crack. you can get an even stronger repair by adding more PP material from the ribs taken from an inconspicuous place in the cover or by melting some >EVA< glue sticks on top. The more material you put in the union the stronger the repair will be. If you have further question do not hesitate to ask again. Thanks
