Auto Parts: seat belt tensioner, dodge ram 3500, auto part store

i have a 1997 dodge ram 3500 van and i need some advice. How do you repair the seat belt tensioner on the drivers front seat. i took it to the dodge dealer and they wanted 467 dollars for the part and repairs...if it cant be fixed then where might i find a part?

As far as repairing the tensioner, i would need to know the problem, i can not give you advice or instruction to repair it if i dont know what is wrong with it.

As far as replacing the unit, you can order most parts for most all vehicles, from almost any auto part store, or online auto part service.
