Question
Where do I find the drain plug?  My car is getting flooded on the inside and we can not find the drain for the a/ac.  Please help.

Answer
While I don't have any personal experience with this particular vehicle, almost all A/C systems drain the same way.  There should be a rubber nipple projecting from the firewall under the hood in front of where the A/C airbox is.  You might need a flashlight to find it.  It is designed to let water out and nothing in.  The flexible plastic from which it is made can become stiff.  Combine that with a lot of debris dropping through the vents in the cowl, and you have a plugged-up hole.  Once you locate the nipple under the hood you can probably just stick a finger into it and coax out the crud which is blocking it up (if not, use a stick or something).  The water in the box should wash out the rest of it.  Just remember to check it every couple of years and you should be OK.

Because of the moist environment, you frequently get mold in the airbox which can contribute to the clogging problem (parking under a tree doesn't help, either).  If you smell or otherwise suspect mold, just pour a bottle of Lysol into the cowl vents and let it sit for a while with the A/C running.  Follow that up with a generous dousing from a water hose (this is AFTER you have cleared up the drain problem) and the problem should go away.
