Auto Parts: Uncomfortable Seats, car cushions, honda fit

Question
I've got a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. The front seats are uncomfortable on long drives. I understand that this is a fairly common complaint about this car. Cushions and lumbar supports are of limited help.  Do you know of a better remedy?  I would even consider replacing the seats with something different. Thanks for your generous help.

Answer
This would not be super cheap, but you could go to a local upholsterer or "trim shop" and get them to change the padding under the upholstery.  I really can't think of anything better, other than buying new seats and making them fit the car.  Remember, this is really the only car Honda sells here that is also sold in Japan.  So, it's got seats that were designed for Japanese butts, which are different from American butts.  I wonder if the seats from the standard Fit might be softer than the Sport model's seats.  You could check that out at the dealer by sitting in them.
