Auto Parts: 01 Saturn SL2 Plastic Intake Manifold, plastic radiators, saturn sl2

I have the above car and just found a leak n the tube where the heater hose connects. It has split lengthwise and as far as I can see it is all one piece with the intake manifold. What knucklehead designed this part??? Is there any "fix" that you are aware of to fix this problem without changing the entire Intake Manifold?

    I have run into this before.  You can try to stop-drill the crack and patch it, some people have made it work.  Usually you have to buy a new one.  As of right now, I don't think you can get one anywhere other than the dealer.  I've heard that could be a problem, too.  If you can find someone who knows a little about plastics to help you repair it, they do make a kit for repairing cracked plastic radiators.  I think they are made from the same stuff.  Sorry and good luck.
