Auto Parts: ABS, buick park ave, abs system

Hi,
I have a 99 Buick Park Ave, do you know of a way to diagnose ABS w/o having the ABS scanner? Is there a way around buying that expensive software?

Not really Mike.  It's not like the PCM where you can jump the wires and count the check engine lights, you need the proper scanner in order to diagnose the problem.  The ABS system is entirely separate from the engine PCM, although I'm thinking you already know that.
