Auto Parts: Lower intake plenum, intake plenum, gmc jimmy

I have been looking for a lower intake plenum for my 1995 GMC Jimmy 4x4. I cannot find one anywhere, please help....Thank you

It appears that your part may no longer be available from GM (discontinued), which explains why I cannot find it in any parts websites I know of either.  :(

However, I did find two different part numbers.  One appears to be for a manual trans model, and I'm assuming the other one is for all other models.

10172785 (for manual trans.) is listed as $293.25 through GMPartsDirect.com and is still available, but the other part number, 170950, "either changed to a new part number or no longer available from GM".  Not uncommon for older models.  Either way, that other unavailable part number is listed as $807.83.  Ouch!

If I were in your shoes, I'd comb through some junk yards or Ebay for the intake manifold you're looking for.  Can't be too difficult to track one down, since GM put the 4.3 in nearly every truck and van they sold back then.
