Auto Parts: Electrical, shift indicator, indicator light

Question
My 1995 Chevy K3500 shift indicator light stays on and drains my battery any suggestions? The ignition harness in steering column has been replaced.

If I were you I'd take a look at the schematic for your shift indicator and find where it goes, then try and find out what is exactly keeping that light on constantly.
