Auto Parts: head lights for toyota highlander, Toyota, Highlander

Question
Hi! I have a 2003 Toyota highlander from USA. Trying to get it throw SVA, but have a problem with the lights. They are pointing to the other direction. Adjustment dos not help and there are not being made in the world suitable for use in the UK. Do you know of any solution to this problem? Are there of any other kind, shape and size wise head lights same as for Toyota highlander? Or perhaps the inner of it could be replaced. Please help in any way you could. Many thanks, Roman.

Answer
I searched around for a few hours on this and found the factory repair manual for your vehicle.  Here's the instructions for adjusting the headlamps (condensed as possible):

- Fill the fuel tank
- Unload the trunk
- Sit a person of average weight (~150 lbs.) in the driver's seat

Place the vehicle at a 90* angle to a wall, approximately 25 feet from the wall to enable accurate adjustment of the lights.

Bounce the vehicle up/down to settle the suspension.

I really wish I could post a picture, but anyway, are you utilizing the adjustment aiming screw on the backside of the headlight assemblies?  Left side adjustment screw is at the 10 o'clock position of the outboard light socket, and right side is just the opposite.

Since I'm not there to look and physically see what the problem is, this is about as close as I can get for you.  Hope this helps.
