Auto Parts: Transmission swap question, gmc sonoma, bell housings

I'm not sure if its possible or not. i have a 96 gmc sonoma manual 4 speed, im wondering if a 91 v6 4 speed manual transmission will bolt up and everything to that sonoma 4cyl ... sonoma is a 2.2 , and the s10 is a 2.8  any help is appreciated thanks

The bell housings will differ and therefore not work.
