Auto Parts: drl diode, gmc suburban, gm vehicles

Question
Is there a picture of the drl diode for 1999 gmc suburban?

Answer
Hi Bernard,

Diode? The DRL's in GM vehicles use a small control module located under the center-left dash. It is typically a small white or blue box (about the size of a deck of cards) and will say LUTRON on the side of it. Trucks may have moved the box behind the far-left dash and in rare instances I've seen it behind the glovebox. There was no standard location for the module because not all vehicles used the same headlamp systems. Vehicles with alarms, fog lights, floor-shift and probably other options changed the location of allot of modules and components making location more difficult.

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
