Auto Parts: Land rover bumper swap, discovery land rover, land rover discovery

I have a 1997 Land Rover Discovery that needs a new bumper and grill.  I have been offered a 1995 Discovery for 700.00 dollars to use for parts (engine is dead). Do you know if it is possible to swap the bumper and grill from a 1995 Discovery and put it on a 1997? I'm also considering swapping out the front seats.

Here is the interchange for your '97 Discovery Grille:

LAND ROVER 94-95 Discovery, from VIN 116457
LAND ROVER 96-97 Discovery
LAND ROVER 98 (Discovery)
LAND ROVER 99 (Discovery), SD

and front bumper:

LAND ROVER 94-97 Discovery
LAND ROVER 98 (Discovery)
LAND ROVER 99 (Discovery), SD

There are two different bumpers. One had provisions for a brush guard whereas the other didn't. They will interchange the difference will be the appearance and functionality.

So to answer your question directly, yes. The parts from the '95 donor will work on your '97.
