Auto Parts: Dashlight on 2001 Toyota Prado, toyota prado, security light

My Prado was purchased in Japan and did not come with a manual.  Recently I noticed a light flashing on the dash.  It looks like a car with a key inside of it.  What does this light mean?  I don't know if it is something critical that I need to have serviced immediately or not.

Hi Jason,

Sounds to me like it is the security light or the Pass-Key-II fault light. I'd have to say security first though because the Pass-Key fault would prevent the vehicle from starting.
