Auto Parts: BMW 528i, bmw 528i, automatic transmissions

I want to know if there are ither BMW transmissions that will fit the 1997 528i?

Hi Andrea,

BMW used both manual and automatic transmissions in the '97 528i's. The early edition '97 528i's used a different style auto trans as their late '97 edition counterparts did. The two units are NOT interchangable.
