I need to replace my left and right headlamp assembly on my 199 dodge ram sport pickup. Do I need to take off the front bumper to replace the whole assembly

Hi Steve,

To access the lower mounts on those headlamp assemblies I believe you DO need to at least remove the front bumper cover. This assembly is usually only attached using nylon body-fasteners and possibly a bolt on each side near the front of the wheel-well opening.
