Auto Parts: infiniti G20, infiniti g20, vibration sensor

Question
when i lock my car using the remote on my key chain every 30 seconds to
a min the alarm sounds. i heard that you can just take out the fuse
untill i get the money to fix it, but i have no clue where the fuse would
be. please help

Answer
Hi Derek,
Not sure about the fuse-fix, if it were that easy to disable alarm features, it wouldn't be prudent to install them in the first place.
The alarm system on your car needs to be disarmed. You'll need to obtain the 'code' from your local Infinity dealer using your VIN. The codes are typically just procedures to follow such as turn the key on and off three times within five seconds, the 'service' light will blink twice and then you operate the door locks on-off three times and the check light will blink again to confirm. Some codes are more complex, like the one for disarming the alarm will surely be multiple steps. I would opt to fix the original problem. Sounds like a vibration sensor has gone bad and it is tripping the alarm thinking someone is trying to gain entry to the vehicle.
Thanks for the question. I hope this information is helpful to you.
