Auto Parts: brake pads, squek, metallic pads

Greg - Just trying to confirm some info I was given. I was told that with metallic pads you can still get some squek when you first drive the car after sitting for some time especially if its wet or high humidity. Then after a couple stops it goes away. Your thoughts please.

Hi Dave.
The answer is yes, you will get squeaking with metallic pads at first and perhaps going forward as well depending on wear and a lot of weather conditions most times. The advantage to ceramic is less noise, less dust, low heat as well as longer and more even wear. Hope this helps. Thanks.
