Auto Parts: 1997 Camry Exterior Mirror Replacement, exterior mirror, japan version

I need to replace the exterior driver side mirror on an early USA produced (09/96) 1997 Camry CE V6. However, according to the images available from on-line suppliers, the JAPAN version seems the correct one. Should I order the USA or JAPAN version?

if you still have your old mirror there should be a factory part number on it somewhere. that would be the best way to go. it would suprise me if your car had the diferent mirrors. maybe the doors have been switched at some time or maybe the vin imformation is wrong on the vehicle.
