System worked fine for years, now can't start my 2002 GMC Yukon 5.3 l with key, only starts 99% of the time with remote? What can I do to trouble shoot unit. Can I pull main processor out, and do some kind of download from Directed Electronics who has designed the unit?

It sounds like the bypass kit used lost programming or simply was not installed.
The PASSLOCK 2 fuel rail shutdown security for this truck does need that bypass,
so that's what's needed to inspect, reset it or by one and install it properly.
