Car Alarms: 96 honda alarm, crime guard, feature options

Question
I have a 96 honda accord that sometimes locks the driver door by itself. im afraid it will get me sometime when i least expect it. i also think the alarm system is slowly draining battery. it has a crime guard system that i have no manuals for. i want to just disarm the system. ive looked under passenger seat and behind grill and don't see anything to disarm. can you help me.? i never lock this old beat up car. been a few times it wouldn't start untill i played with crime guard remote for a while. Rod.

Answer
That Crimeguard manual is needed to go from
passive to active arming. It was probably set
at the factory as default that way, but each company
will have a different way to step through the feature
options, so that manual is key.

I just looked and found this

so look harder. Get the model number off the box and
find it. It's out there some where or
try using the data I found just by going to Google.

Have a good day.
